I was in Vic Dodge's class when the news came about JFK. I remember him as being a burly redhead who wore tweedy jackets and used a cane even though he looked to be only in his 30's. I don't remember if Morry came in first with the message but I think the phone rang first. Mr. Dodge's ruddy complection turned dark and he raised himself up and leaned heavily on his cane and delivered the news to the class in the same measured, controlled fashion he always used, his coloration being the only thing, also as usual, to betray his emotions. Were any of you in that class? I don't remember. In fact I may be suffering from historical revisionism about the whole thing but somehow I don't think so.
